This policy applies to all data collected by the app NIBE Product Registration which NIBE collects and processes on you in your capacity as an installer of NIBE’s products. NIBE is the controller of all collected data. NIBE Product Registration is used to register customers having purchased NIBE’s heat pumps for the activation of the insurance NIBE Trygghetsförsäkring (the customer).

The data processed by NIBE Product Registration are the installer’s credentials, such as e-mail, address and records of the company where the installer is employed (such as company registration number and company name). We process the data with the purpose of enabling login to NIBE Product Registration and to manage administration and invoicing. We activate the camera function on your phone or tablet (unit) in order for you as an installer to take a picture of the QR-code on the customer’s heat pump in order to identify the heat pump and to activate NIBE’s insurance NIBE Trygghetsförsäkring for the customer. NIBE Product Registration activates your unit’s location services to make suggestions for the customer’s address upon registration.

The data will be stored by NIBE for the time necessary to perform the agreement entered into between the installer and NIBE. NIBE may also store your data in order to comply with applicable law or government orders.

We have taken several precautionary measures to protect your personal data, such as encryption of data and firewalls. We also follow the generally accepted standards in the industry.

In accordance with the general data protection legislation in force you have a right once every calendar year to, free of charge, demand information about the data processed on you, regardless of how these data have been collected. If you should require such information you may, in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation, send us a written request in paper form (not by e-mail) with your signature. If your data should be processed in conflict with the data protection legislation in force, you are entitled to request corrective measures such as rectification, blocking or deletion of the personal data. Any such request should be directed to NIBE on the contact details above.

As a customer you are also entitled to file complaints with the Swedish Data Protection Authority (DPA) regarding our processing of your personal data. The DPA can be contacted on www.datainspektionen.se, +46 8 657 00 or address: Box 8114, SE-104 20 Stockholm.
